This apartment is nestled in a safe neighborhood a mile from the restaurants, bars, and shops in Downtown Burlingame, slightly less than a mile from the Burlingame Caltrain station, and 4.7 miles from San Francisco International Airport. It is adjacent to Highway 101, a block from a nice neighborhood park with a playground, and a short walk from Coyote Point Recreation Area. Pictures are accurate, and the amenity list is up-to-date, so please take a look and make sure the space meets your expectations. We want our guests to be as comfortable and happy as possible! SLEEPING AREAS Bedroom - 1 King Bed (Sleeps 2) Living Room - Twin Futon (Sleeps 1 Adult; this can be used as a space for your own guests should you choose to stay) KITCHEN Cook something delightful in the stocked kitchen. It has an electric stove, microwave, toaster, pots, pans, and anything else you might need to cook a delicious meal. A Keurig coffeemaker and pods are available in the kitchen. Be aware that the unit does NOT have a garbage disposal or dishwasher, but a dish drying rack is provided for your convenience! DINING AREA The dining area, adjacent to the kitchen, will seat 4. We usually shove it against the wall as a breakfast nook (seats 2), but it can easily be pulled out (extra chairs are kept in the bedroom's walk-in closet). LIVING ROOM Social living area with plenty of seating, WiFi, 50” 4k Smart HDTV (we do not have cable or satellite), and an Amazon Echo for listening to music. PARKING If you'll have a car, let us know and we can secure a complimentary space in the apartment carport for you. Free street parking is also available on adjacent streets if you'll have more than one car. LAUNDRY & TRASH The lower level of the apartment building has a paid washer ($1.00 per load) and dryer ($.75 per load). GROCERY SHOPPING We are .5 miles from a Safeway grocery store, CVS, and Starbucks. You'll have plenty of space for food storage in the kitchen cupboards and fridge. NOTE: NO AIR CONDITIONING The apartment lacks air conditioning and can get very warm during heat waves. This is typical of most older buildings on the Upper Peninsula, but there are many Airbnbs available with AC! Our unit is priced in the lower 25th percentile of available units to take the lack of AC and older building into account. We live in the same apartment complex and also have the same setup, so we can empathize. We want to emphasize this to ensure expectations are set accurately. The apartment is a short walk (<1 mile) from Downtown Burlingame's restaurants, bars, and shops. It is on the outskirts of the Lyon Hoag neighborhood of Burlingame and borders on a small commercial street. The Burlingame Caltrain station is a 10-15 minute walk, also less than a mile away. Safeway (grocery), Starbucks, and CVS are all .5 miles away. SFO is a ~7 min (4.5 mi) drive.
